Idea: Ribban = “Malmös Copacabana!” Throughout the summer months, the beach is filled with both Malmö residents and visitors enjoying the sun and swimming. In the evenings, the beach changes its character and barbecues mingle with salsa parties and flâneurs. The fact that the beach is within walking distance of the city does not make the whole thing worse. At the beach there are activities for everyone; outdoor gym, volleyball courts, an accessible swimming pool, a designated area for nude swimming, several kiosks, a marina and a large, well-visited dog resting area.
“R” green = Limhamnsfältet’s large green lawns with soccer and cricket pitches. “in” magenta = all the activity and creativity that people create in this lovely place. “b” beige = the color of the beach which is kept nice during the summer season. “b” lime green = beach rye on the beach’s dunes. “a” blue = glorious strait. “n” yellow = the summer sun and all the active people on the beach.
